Online- Politeness: Complaints on Amazon

    Politeness theory plays an important role in face to face communication but also in CMC, for example amazon. In the following text, investigations in regard to complaints on Amazon were made to show the different strategies complaining individuals use. Certain levels of analysis were applied to explain and categorize complaints in this particular setting. These levels include Complaint Strategies, Directness, Modifications, Usage of Pronouns as well as feature of CMC.
